Eiffel

Eiffel is a fancy object-oriented programming language that was all the rage back in the 80s and 90s. It's known for its strict typing, design by contract principles, and being named after a big metal tower in Paris.

How to use it in a sentence

  • "I was going to use Eiffel for this project, but then I remembered it's not 1992 anymore so I went with Rust instead."

  • "Some dinosaur at the conference tried to convince me Eiffel is making a comeback, but I think he's still stuck in the pre-dot-com bubble era."

If you actually want to learn more...

  • Eiffel Software - The official site of Eiffel, if you want to party like it's 1999.

  • Eiffel: The Essentials - An ancient tome from the creator of Eiffel himself. Probably gathering dust on a shelf somewhere.

  • Eiffel on Wikipedia - The Wiki rabbit hole awaits, for when you have way too much free time on your hands.

We evaluated Optimizely, LaunchDarkly, Split, and Eppo, but ultimately selected Statsig due to its comprehensive end-to-end integration. We wanted a complete solution rather than a partial one, including everything from the stats engine to data ingestion.
