Anonymous: Hey Statsig team! Was wondering if there is any way to copy a metric from one project to another project, for ease of setup (e.g. in the use case of the same metric which is frequently set up, basically looking to automate the process)?

Tore (Statsig): Cross project workflows dont really exist at the moment - if you need the same metric in both projects, typically its a good sign that they aren’t really separate and should just be a single project. Whats the use case here?

Anonymous: Hi Tore! We are A/B testing across many brand partners but with essentially the same metric setup each time. To my knowledge, each brand needs their own projects since they are different site domains and different a/b test setups. However, the metrics are pretty much always consistent so was asking in case there’s any way there’s a process I could use to speed up metric setup with multiple metadata filters, etc so I don’t need to do it each time

Tore (Statsig): Mmm I see, that makes sense. The console API might be your best bet for this actually, you can programmatically create metrics there
