How can I list archived gates on Statsig via API or webhooks?

Date of slack thread: 8/1/24

Anonymous: Hi guys! Is there anyway to list archived gates? Can we do it via API or webhooks? Thanks

Cooper Reid (Statsig): Hmm, i dont believe we take status as a filter today, so you’d have to iterate all and then apply a filter locally

Anonymous: Sure! But I think I might be able to do it using the /audit_logs endpoint

Our use case includes extracting some metrics about our gates on Statsig, and will be doing it with the /gates endpoint. However, as it doesn’t also list the archived gates, we’ll have outdated metrics once the gates are archived

Using the /audit_logs endpoint, I think we might be able to see which gates were archived and then update our metrics

We evaluated Optimizely, LaunchDarkly, Split, and Eppo, but ultimately selected Statsig due to its comprehensive end-to-end integration. We wanted a complete solution rather than a partial one, including everything from the stats engine to data ingestion.
