Can we roll back to the previous Statsig API domains due to client access issues?

Date of slack thread: 5/17/24

Anonymous: Hello. Since the statsig API domains changed from featuregates.org to featureassets.org it appears we might have some of our enterprise clients that may be blocking these domains or cannot access them for some other reason. Can we roll back to the previous domains and will these continue to be supported?

Anonymous: The document does not indicate the old domains being deprecated, can someone confirm that is the case.

Anonymous: And if there is any other reason not to use the old domains.

Eric (Statsig): Hey - this change is captured in our change log as a breaking change denoted by the full version bump: https://github.com/statsig-io/js-client/releases

We are currently continuing support for the old domains, so you should have no concern about that. We will send out messaging if we deprecate the old ones.

To override, if you want to change it back, you can update StatsigOptions and override api: https://docs.statsig.com/client/jsClientSDK#statsig-options
