Program Overview

GitLab offers a comprehensive suite of tools for software development and collaboration, focusing on continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD), source code management, and DevOps. The GitLab Startup Program supports startups in leveraging these tools to accelerate their growth. The program includes two main offerings: GitLab Seed Stage Startup Program and GitLab Early Stage Startup Program, each designed to meet the needs of startups at different stages of their lifecycle.

Eligibility

To qualify for GitLab for Startups, your company must meet the following criteria:

• Seed Stage Startup Program

  • Pre-seed or seed stage; up to $5 million in funding

  • Funding must have been raised externally

  • New customers only

• Early Stage Startup Program

  • Currently series A or Series B; up to $20 million in funding

  • Funding must have been raised externally

  • New customers only

What is Included?

Startups participating in GitLab for Startups gain access to:

• Seed Stage Startup Program

  • Year One

    • Free Ultimate license for a year (SaaS or self-managed) up to 20 seats

    • Support not included. That’s okay, GitLab is designed to be super easy to use

  • Year Two

    • 50% discount on any tier; up to 20 users

• Early Stage Startup Program

  • Year One

    • 50% discount on any tier; up to 20 users

  • Year Two

    • 25% discount on any tier; up to 20 users
