Jiakan Wang

Enterprise Engineering, Statsig

Jiakan Wang is currently the Engineering Lead at Statsig, where he focuses on helping customers succeed with Statsig by providing training, managing feature requests, and handling support tickets. A member of the founding team, Jiakan also played a role in developing Statsig's SDKs.

Prior to joining Statsig, Jiakan worked for Facebook for 4 years as a Software Engineer, where he served as a Tech Lead on the FB Gaming team, with a focus on growing instant games, which later included cloud gaming.

Before his time at Facebook, he worked at Microsoft for nearly 4 years as a Software Engineer, specializing in building tools for Bing's ML teams. Jiakan also worked as a Teaching Assistant at Kalamazoo College and had an internship as a Software Development Engineering Intern at Amazon, where he worked on the Fire Phone project.

When he's not working, Jiakan loves spending time in nature and can be found posting pictures on his Instagram taken from the summits of difficult mountains to climb.
